Dr. Kemol Lloyd

Dr. Kemol Lloyd is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Elementary/Mathematics Education in the School of Teacher Education at Florida State University. His research interests include the beliefs that the university instructors of the support classes have about mathematical discussions, how they engage the undergraduate students in mathematical discussions, and the extent to which these approaches facilitate the students’ mathematical thinking and learning. He teaches How Children Learn Mathematics, Learning Progressions in Elementary Mathematics, The Teaching of Elementary School Mathematics, Directed Field Experience, Culturally Responsive Teaching for Equitable Instruction and Teaching and Technology.
