Dr. Jamila Holcomb, LMFT
Interests
I am passionate about positively impacting the lives of individuals, families, and systems through a variety of avenues. As teaching faculty, I aim to educate students on the complexity and diversity of family life, and mentor them on their individual journeys through learning and self-exploration. As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I aim to support individuals and families as they heal from past traumas and learn to better navigate mental health and relationship challenges. As a consultant, I translate and disseminate evidence-based best practices to advance the anti-racism, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging efforts within the fields of mental health and higher education.
